Dave—The Dad (He/Him)

Dave grew up watching horror movies with his dad, and loves continuing the spooky tradition. He’s worked in audio engineering. He's taught middle school, high school, and at the collegiate level. He’s been a stay at home dad.

When he finally figured out what he wanted to be when he grew up, he became a doctor of audiology. When he’s not working, watching movies, or making a podcast, he’s writing his novel, playing board games and D&D, or making music. Dave wrote, performed, and recorded all the music for Spooky Pancakes.

Rowan—The Teen (She/They)

Rowan has always loved spooky things. They grew up watching and absolutely adoring Scooby Doo when they were in elementary school, then moved onto “true” ghost stories they found in the school library in middle school. Now, in high school, they spend every Saturday morning watching horror movies. When she isn’t watching said movies, or at school, she’s at ballet and contemporary dance classes, playing Animal Crossing, writing, or singing.
